BY FLIGHT
Nearest domestic airport from Jim Corbett National Park is approx 50 Km’s away. The airport is situated at Phoolbagh, Pantnagar. International tourists should take the flight till New Delhi which is approx 296 Km’s away from the Jim Corbett National Park.
BY BUS
Regular bus service from Delhi is available. Which takes approx 6 hours, to cover the stretch of 296 Km’s.
DRIVE
By Using National highway you could easily Reach Jim Corbett National Park from New Delhi in approx 6 hours. Roads are in Good Conditions. After Haridwar you would enter the forest area and drive through them is an absolute pleasure.
IMPORTANT DO’s and DON’T’s
Dhikala Safari Zone opens in November every year. Durga, Bijrani zone starts from October and Jhirna and Dhela zone remains open throughout the year. (depends on weather conditions).
There is some restricted area inside Jim Corbett National Park, which is strictly no entry zone for tourists. You need to have special permission to go inside it.
Jim Corbett National Park has been divided into 6 tourism zones, and each zone has a separate entry.

- There is specific timings and limited number of vehicles for each zone.
- You need to obtain permit and tickets before availing safari facility. Same could be obtained online as well
- Tourists are advised to strictly adhere to the timeline being offered by the National Park staff members.
- Private vehicles are not allowed, until and unless you get a special permission for it.
- At Bijrani and Dhikala Zone you can avail the facility of Elephant Safari.

Best Time to See Jim Corbett National Park
Best time to see Jim Corbett National Park is in November. This time all major parts of the park are open for tourist.
November to February could be considered as the best time to visit Jim Corbett National Park. Temperature has a variation of 5 degrees till 30 degrees during this season. Mornings and nights are foggy and cold but you would get a pleasant afternoon and evenings.
Monsoon Season starts from June and ends till September. It could be an ideal season to visit Corbett due to lush greenery and more animal sightseeing. This is an ideal season to enjoy the safari.
Summer season starts from March and ends till May and temperature could rise upto 40 degrees at this time. It could be ideal to see animal sightseeing and they could be found easily drinking water at the river beds.
